MyNote ยท Last updated 19 September 2026
MyNote does not collect any data about you. There is no account to create, nothing to sign in to, and no server belonging to us for your notes to travel to. We cannot read your notes, because we never receive them.
Your notes, their contents, your themes and your settings are stored on your device. They are not transmitted to us at any point.
Backup is off until you choose a destination. If you turn it on, MyNote writes files into storage that already belongs to you:
drive.file permission, which limits it to the files it
creates itself. It cannot see anything else in your Drive. Those files are plain JSON in a folder you can open, read, copy and delete yourself. The transfer is between your device and your storage provider. It does not pass through us.
MyNote contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nothing is logged about how you use it. No identifier is assigned to you, and no data is shared with or sold to anyone.
MyNote collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Deleting the app removes the notes stored on that device. If you turned on backup, delete the MyNote folder in your iCloud Drive or Google Drive to remove the backup copies. Nothing remains with us, because nothing was ever sent to us.
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. If a future version of MyNote ever collected anything, that would be stated here plainly and before it happened.
Questions about privacy go through the App Support link on MyNote's App Store page.
